You would think that I would be used to my best friend moving by now. But this is the first time I've felt like it might be a really long time until I see her again. She and Matt are moving to Washington. We had a little goodbye BBQ and enjoyed some of our favorite things.
The problem with having a friend since childhood, when you live in the city you both grew up in, is that there are memories everywhere. I know she's happy though, and that makes me happy.
