My family has been having so much fun with our garden. Until this year we hadn't grown vegetables, but we got kind of excited as we were combing through the packets of seeds at the grocery store. In the past I had always felt like it was a waste of time since you can get inexpensive veggies from the produce section.
But I realize now that growing a garden is such an exciting way to spend some energy. I look forward to going out in the morning and seeing what has grown since I last watered, or weeded.
Emma and Ben enjoyed helping Trenton prepare the soil and drop the little seeds in the earth. They love helping me water the flowers every day and spend a little while in the sun.
