I had the sacred opportunity to be in the room when Shannon birthed baby Nathanial. It was sweet, and hallowed, and scary, and helped finalize my decision to not have any more kids.
I had the privilege of being the first person this little man decided to pee on. I felt awfully special. We bonded.
