Happy Thanksgiving 2019

After a huge snowstorm that closed the highway and a sick kid, we finally made it to Kansas just in time for Thanksgiving. And it was worth the wait.  We had such a delicious meal, went to see some fun movies, decorated for Christmas, and my favorite...Black Friday shopping.

Utah and Idaho Trip

In less than 48 hours we flew to Utah for a wedding, drove to Idaho, did some Christmas shopping, donated blood, ate In-N-Out...twice, visited with my brother’s family, went up a canyon, and took a tour of temple square. Congratulations to the Tews family. Thank you so much for the invitation and for your friendship. We are so happy for you two.

Registered Medical Assistant

I decided last February to go back to school to enter the medical field and become a Registered Medical Assistant. This was a lot harder than I had anticipated, but also so much more exciting and rewarding than anything I imagined. I couldn’t have done any of it without the backbone of support I received throughout the process. And to my kids- if you have a goal you’ve been sitting on, just go for it. Life is short- fill your brain and heart up with as much knowledge and goodness as you can, and then go out there and spill it all over the world. Of my 18 years of formal education, this was by far the most fun I’ve had. I cherish the people I’ve grown to love like family way more than the credentials I earned. I put my blood (literally ðŸ’‰), sweat, and tears into this program, but the real credit goes to my friends, family, and teachers. I love you all. Thank you! I’m excited to start my new job up at St Francis.  Life is far from perfect, but I’m so happy.
