I have to admit, Trenton and I were not very excited when we were asked to play Joseph and Mary in our ward's Nativity. The thought of memorizing lines and coming up with a costume during the already busy month of December wasn't very appealing. But now that it's over, I can honestly say that it was one of the more spiritual experiences I've had and I'm grateful for the opportunity to do it. Spending an evening putting our focus on the Savior's birth was the ultimate preparation for Christmas.
The kids also got to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what present they would each like for Christmas.
They are at such cute ages. I wish this time in our lives could last just a little longer.
