We also went into one of my favorite stores in Manitou where you can make your own bath and body care products. They have a buffet of essential oils and fragrances and different lotions and creams. Emma made herself a bottle of Wild Raspberry lotion, and I made Fresh Strawberry. It literally smells like strawberry shortcake.
Emma was so spoiled by all of her family and friends. Her grandma gave her a new Barbie pool and this year's collector "Birthday Wishes" Barbie.
On her actual Birthday, we all accidentally slept in. So instead of fancy pancakes for breakfast, this girl got a candle in her FiberOne bar as she was heading out the door. Nothing says, "Happy Birthday" like a healthy colon.
Luckily, I redeemed myself by surprising her at school with Chick fil a for lunch. She got to invite two friends to sit with her, and my mom and Lyla joined us too.
I picked the kids up early from school and we drove up to Denver to meet up with Trenton to do some shopping at the Park Meadow's Mall, and then we headed over to Tad and Linsey's house to spend time with family.
We all dressed up in silly costumes, opened presents, and had cake and ice cream. I think Emma had a memorable birthday.
Happy Birthday, my beautiful baby girl!
