For Emma's 5th birthday, Trenton and I went all out and threw her a tea party. It was completely over the top, frilly and fluffy, and if a color could be used to describe the whole night, it would be a chiffon pink.
Upon Emma's request, Trenton was the "Chef and Butler" for the evening. He even put on his tux from high school. He served the little girls their tea and treats. I think the question he asked most often throughout the evening was, "Would you like one sugar cube, or two?" And the answer was consistently, "Three, please."
I'm pretty sure Emma would have been just as happy with a party at Chucky Cheese, but hopefully she appreciated the effort Trenton and I put into the evening. It really was fun putting together and watching the expression on all the girls' faces when they walked in made it totally worth it.
