I'm not sure there's anything better than the smell of a plastic pool, fresh out of the box. Maybe it's the coconutty scent of sun screened babies that have just eaten BB&J's? Or maybe it's the happy sting of chlorine in your eyes from a day at the pool. Happiness is eating fresh tomatoes on a sesame bun. It is sipping frozen lemonade by the pool and talking about life with your oldest babe. It's riding in the car with the windows down. These are all sure signs that Summer is here, and that is the very best news for three excited kids, and one very sleep-deprived mama.
