Memorial Day 2016

We are lucky to live in Colorado Springs, with so many memorials nearby to help us remember the reason behind this national holiday. We went as a family to Memorial Park to honor those who have fought to protect the freedom of our beautiful country. So much respect and gratitude.  The next morning we enjoyed breakfast in Old Colorado City and walked around a local street fair called "Territory Days."  Nothing like an all bacon breakfast to start the day off right.  Colorado finally got the memo that it was Summer and we had a beautifully sunshiny day.
