We really enjoyed being outside this summer, in spite of the above average temperatures. When it was reasonable to be outside, my mom and I took the kids back to the botanic gardens to enjoy the summer blooms. We also went to the zoo, and the Pioneer Museum. When the heat was not tolerable, we let the kids play in the fountains by the theatre, or we'd go see dollar movies on Tuesdays, or play dress-up at Target. I just love not being on a tight schedule and worrying about bedtimes and homework.
