Trenton surprised me on a chilly day last winter when he had purchased an old indoor fireplace on Craigslist. His goal was to build an outdoor, wood burning fireplace and seating area. Unfortunately, the skeleton of the fireplace sat on a Rubbermaid box in the yard for the entire winter. Our backyard was embarrassing. But, in true "Trenton" fashion, he began working hard during the Spring, and built us an incredible outdoor living area, with a dreamy fireplace.
This is what our backyard looked like the day we moved in. A lot of hard work, and the help of a lot of wonderful friends resulted in a pretty incredible transformation.
