Our family lost a very special lady on December 19th. Our hearts are heavy that Trenton's Grandma has passed. But she has let such a legacy! One of my favorite memories with her was when she taught me to make Trenton's favorite raisin cream pie. She was definitely an "add a pinch of this, and a dash of that" kind of baker, so I don't think I'll ever be able to recreate her time-perfected recipes. She was always so good to our kids. She never missed a birthday card for all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had the most precious marriage for 69 years, and she welcomed me into the family with open arms 13 years ago. Her loss is deeply felt and we will all miss her.
