We were so unbelievably happy to begin a new year. I'm thankful for the progress that was made in 2017 and the growth that took place, but we couldn't wait to see what awesomeness we could create in 2018. I am completely humbled by my new job with the American Heart Association. As part of my training, I was taken on a tour of the cardiology unit at Denver Children's Hospital. My favorite stop was the cardiac catherization lab because I was a patient in one of these labs just a few years ago. I'm looking forward to see where this takes me.
