Our house was bubbling with excitement on the first day of school. The kids had their new clothes on, their bags packed, and they were ready to get back to school. Emma is in the 2nd grade and Ben is in the 1st this year. Lyla is home with me for a couple more years, thank goodness. If I didn't have Lyla, I'd probably still be crying in the fetal position. Babies grow up too fast!
