From the moment we knew Autum was moving, her mom and I decided we wanted to purchase tickets to visit her. The original plan was to visit her in Washington, but about a week before the trip we got a frantic call from Autum asking if we could switch our tickets to California. Things were not working out with their landlord in Washington and she was heading south. Thankfully we were able to change destinations without an additional cost- and I was so excited about going somewhere warm and beachy.
Unfortunately, Christy's grandma had passed away that week so she was flying out for the funeral on the same flight. We dropped her off at the Los Angeles Temple and took some time to walk the grounds. It was such a beautiful and peaceful way to kick start our vacation.
From then on, it was non-stop relaxation, yummy food, and shopping.
