Tornados in Marshalltown, Summer 2018

Trenton's hometown, Marshalltown, IA was struck with a massive tornado last summer that caused quite a bit of damage across the city.  Unfortunately, his cousin Michelle's house was affected.  The majority of her beautiful 100 year old trees were pulled up by their roots, which made us all very sad.  Trenton and I packed the kids up in the car when we heard and drove through the night to help the community as best we could with what little resources we had.  It was a disaster zone.  So many people without water and power. It definitely helped us appreciate what we have.
