For the past year or so, Lyla has been obsessed with a cartoon called "Paw Patrol." It's about rescue pups and all of their adventures. Naturally, she asked for a Paw Patrol birthday party. The kids enjoyed eating out of doggie bowls and they got to "adopt a pup" before leaving the party.
On her actual birthday, we surprised her by filling her entire room up with balloons and waking her up with a donut party. The kids had so much fun snuggling on her bed and singing happy birthday to her before getting ready for school.
It was a beautiful 70 degree day, so we grabbed some Costa Vida and had a picnic outside. She even got a visit from her Uncle Tad. He brought her the Paw Patrol "Lookout."
Once the kids got home from school, we took Lyla to the Build a Bear Workshop where she got to pick out her own bear and watch it as it was being made. She chose a Valentine's bear that smelled like candy. They added a little heart that beats and then gave her a "bath" and brushed her fur. Then Lyla created a birth certificate and named the bear, "Furlina."
When we got home we enjoyed a funfetti cake that Emma made for her sister, all by herself, and opened presents. What more could a 4 year old ask for!? Happy Birthday, Little Dida.
