Easter 2016

While we were in the midst of all this illness, we got a cheerful Easter package in the mail from Heather.  She's always so thoughtful and seems to remember us on every holiday.  The kids desperately needed that ray of sunshine.

Once we were all well, the kids and I started getting ready for a little Easter egg hunt that we had at our house.  We made the obligatory jello eggs and white chocolate nests.  We also did some shopping and found some new chairs for our family room.  I love them!

The weather had a different idea of what Spring should look like, and the night Trenton was supposed to be flying in, we had another blizzard.  The kids and I were so worried!  We had already endured two weeks without him...I don't know that we could have handled another day.  Thankfully, he made it home that evening and all was well.

We enjoyed a beautiful Easter in spite of the weather.  After what I had just been through, having our family complete was all I needed.  And sleep.  I needed lots of sleep.
