Christmas Eve 2016

We had Trenton's family over for Christmas eve (the 23rd actually) at our house this year.  We were blessed with some carolers to kick off the evening, which put everyone in an especially festive mood. We had tamales and did a little Christmas karaoke and dancing before opening presents.  Laurie made all the kids the most adorable pajamas this year.

We enjoyed a very peaceful Christmas Eve this year as just our little family.  We had dinner at "Southern Hospitality" and then went to Target to let the kids pick out any treat they'd like to enjoy during a Christmas movie at home.  Lyla's pick was pretty awesome.  I truly enjoyed the calm, quiet evening without the chaos of traveling between the homes of extended family.  I think this will have to become our new familyi tradition.
