In other news, Lyla is most definitely a thumb sucker. She seems to understand the bedtime routine now, so as soon as I put her in her jammies and carry her into her room, the thumb goes in her mouth. I love her so much. She is my sweetness.

11 Months
At 11 months, Miss Lyla had the experience of trying crab legs for the first time. Aside from them being a little too stringy for her, she enjoyed them. But she wasn't so sure about the claw. Lyla has been making lots of baby friends, and she absolutely loves her Emma. Emma is such a good big sister. She's always caring for her, helping feed, bathe, and diaper her. She loves feeling like a little mommy. Currently, Lyla's favorite part of the day is when Daddy gets home from work. No matter where she is in the house, she can hear the garage door open and crawls as quickly as she can to find him. Then, when he does appear, she giggles, and shrieks, and claps until he scoops her up for hugs and kisses.
