Sitting Pretty....

Emma has recently started sitting unassisted! Even more...she crawled for the first time yesterday. She only did it twice and doesn't seem too interested in doing it again, but hey, it's a start! Now she just gets on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth and wiggles a bunch to get around. I can't wait until the light bulb goes on that she can actually control her little body. Although, every mom I've talked to echos that I should just appreciate the fact that she squirms quietly on the floor.

It has been pretty quiet around here. Emma had a good time at "Territory Days" this memorial day. She seemed to really love being outside in the warmth- surrounded by lots of people, booming music, and the yummy scents of turkey legs and funnel cakes. I enjoyed diving into my favorite shops down there in Old Colorado City. It's always a good time, if you don't mind crowds and overly priced carnival treats.

Emma has formed a squeezing habit. She'll squeeze your face, your fingers, your lips, your arms...anything she can get her tiny hands on.

Hope all of you are doing well! Enjoy the warm weather...
Love you all!
Until next time,
Janet, Trenton, Emma, and Gary
