During the same week as Lyla's birthday, it was also Dr. Seuss week at the kids' school, and the Blue and Gold Banquet for our ward's cub scouts. We put on an "Under the Sea" themed fundraiser. Each of the boys made cute little fish decorations and a baked good to auction. The ward really stepped up and helped the scouts raise a good bit of money. I'm grateful to be a den mom for the bear cub scouts, and I really can't wait until Ben is old enough to join in the fun.
