Halloween 2012

Emma, Ben, and Lyla officially have the best grandparents in the world.  Laurie put together a Halloween party for the kids, complete with their favorite Ham balls for dinner, a ghost craft, and cookies to decorate. Then my mom had us over the next night to carve pumpkins.  We went with simple jack-o-lanterns this year.  They make me happy.

On Halloween, my friend Julia and I had a fun time helping with Emma's school party.  The kids made spider cookies, played "Pin the Nose on the Jack-o-Lantern", had their faces painted by Julia, and decorated cookies.  What more could a 4 year old ask for?

We kicked Halloween off at Doug and Christy's trunk or treat, followed by trick or treating in their neighborhood.  After putting the kids to bed, Trenton and I ended our Halloween with some pumpkin gnocchi and a spooky movie.  Perfection.
