Welcome Warmth

I dare you to go outside right now and lay your body down into the grass. Try not to think about anything but how good the warmth feels against your skin. I am so thankful to have finally entered the open-all-the-windows-and-eat-out-on-the-deck season. I am also happy to see that the eggs have hatched in the nest outside my kitchen window. This is the third year we've had the privilege of welcoming a new family of finches. If you don't have an "Awwww..." response to this picture, then you're dead inside.

I am dying to reveal our new deck. It's just about done and hopefully you'll join us for a BBQ to celebrate when it is finally complete. I am so proud of my hard-working husband, and thankful to those that have helped us.
