Christmastime is magical, especially at the Botanic Gardens. The lights were absolutely incredible this year, and my favorite was the giant blue tree. Blue Christmas lights help me feel quiet and peaceful and make me want to tuck in for a long winters nap. After the gardens, we went to Casa Bonita. This was by far the best visit to Casa Bonita I've ever had. There was not another customer in the restaurant. Our family was treated like royalty, and the kids even got to pick the biggest prizes from the game room for free! It was a super festive kickoff to the holidays.
