Emma's First Temple Trip

On March 23rd, Emma went to the Denver Temple and joined her youth group in doing proxy baptisms for the very first time.  She beamed as radiantly as the sun the entire day.  Trenton and I are so proud of her for the decisions she makes to stay close to our Heavenly Father and continually choose the right.  We celebrated on the way home by stopping in a fun antique store, and grabbing dinner at an old church that was converted into an Italian restaurant in Castle Rock.  It was a very special day.

St Patrick's Day 2019

We celebrated St. Patty's Day this year by enjoying shamrock lemonade, a pretty solid snow storm, and a traditional Irish dinner with friends.  Even with all the snow, this holiday always gets me excited for Spring!

Girl's Trip to Vegas

Shortly after we got back from Orlando, I had the opportunity to go to Vegas with 3 of my girlfriends to celebrate my friend, Melissa's 40th birthday.  We had so much fun.  One of my favorite moments of the trip was when we had dinner at Giada's restaurant.   She has been my favorite celebrity chef since her very firsts episode of Every Day Italian back in 2003.  The restaurant was stunning.  Panoramic windows overlooking the Bellagio fountains, velvet seating with amber glass lighting.  The walls and floors are blanketed in Carrera marble.  And she features original artwork by her close friends.  The FOOD!  Oh my.  All I can say is it truly was the most delicious meal I've ever eaten.  Period.  We enjoyed shopping together, sight seeing, and we spent our last evening customizing our own soaps and lotions.  I hope we can make this trip again soon.
