St. Patrick's Day

Our St. Patrick's Day was business as usual, aside from waking up to green donuts, gold chocolates, and green toilet water.  We celebrated the lucky day with family and very yummy corned beef and cabbage.

I especially love the fact that Emma decided to tattoo an upside down glass of green BEER to Lyla's FACE!

I Cut My Hair

Oh yes I did.  The voices in my head told me to do it, and unfortunately, I listened this time.  Oh well- hair grows back, right?

The Donut Mill

Sometimes you just have to ignore all the work and projects that need to be done, and wake your kids up early to drive to the mountains and feed them the yummiest donuts in the world.  You just do.

Spring

I am so thankful the weather is finally agreeing with the calendar.  And I'm also grateful for a sister that has babies that love to play with my babies!

I'm also super excited about getting outside and enjoying springy meals.  Trenton and I had fun shopping for fresh ingredients and eating these birds out on the deck.

Lyla Rose is 2!

Lyla is a fun little 2 year old.  I had so much fun picking out her birthday presents, because she's so animated and excited about life, and exploding with happiness.  Of course it makes me a little sad that my baby is already celebrating her second birthday, but what a joy it is to watch her grow.  She's a very lucky girl to have so much family nearby to help celebrate.  And we are all also lucky to have her in our lives.  Happy Birthday Baby Girl!
